We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data the Dentistry Club website at Riyadh Elm University collects, why, how we protect it, and your rights.
What we collect
When you sign up through the “Join us” form we collect:
- Full name, national ID or iqama number, and student ID.
- Email address and mobile number.
- Gender, university, major and academic year.
Why we collect it
- To manage your membership and contact you about the club and its events.
- To record your volunteer hours on the National Volunteering Platform — the only reason we ask for your ID number.
Who can see it
Only club admins can see sign-up data, through a password-protected admin panel. We do not sell or share your data with anyone, except entering what is needed on the National Volunteering Platform to record your hours, or when legally required by a competent authority.
Where it is stored and how we protect it
- Data is stored with a cloud provider (Supabase) on servers outside Saudi Arabia.
- All connections to the site are encrypted (HTTPS), and access is limited to club admins.
- ID numbers are masked in the admin panel and only shown in full when needed.
How long we keep it
We keep sign-up data for as long as it is needed to manage your membership and document your volunteer hours, then delete it. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Your rights
- Access the data we hold about you and request a copy.
- Correct your data if it is inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your data or withdraw your consent (after which we may no longer be able to record your hours).

Cookies and browser storage
We use no tracking or advertising tools. The site stores only your chosen language and whether you closed the announcement bar, to improve your experience.

We may update this policy when needed; the date of the last update is shown at the top.
